Alvis "Ike" German

Alvis “Ike” German, 67, of Evansville passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at his home. Ike was born in Evansville, IN on August 6, 1951 to the late Alvis and Conda German. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1969. He attended U of E where he received a degree in Finance and History. Ike had a big heart, was funny, loyal, and honest to a fault. He loved his family, and looked forward to family get togethers. Ike was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Becky Hofmann; brother, Michael German. Ike is survived by his sisters, Kathy Whitlock (Steve) of Jacksonville, FL., Dixie Billings (Ben) of Evansville, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by James Briscoe. Friends may visit 4-6 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
