Herbert William Wilson

He was born in Hampton, Virginia on September 27, 1962 and was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert H. Wilson and Edna Mae Napier, as well as by his first true love Catherine A. Smith.

He is survived by his four children, Jessica N. Wilson, Casey E. Wilson, Amie L. Wilson and Rusty A. Wilson; 5 grandchildren, Autumn 11, Blake 9, Landon 3, Brennan 3, and Daniel 10 months; brothers, Joe Mc Lindon, Curtis Sykes, Thomas Wilson; sisters, Linda Daniels, Katherine Bateman, Rose Mc Lamb, and Teresa Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews; significant other, Kristy Marshall; and his beloved dog, Trip.

He was a very talented carpenter. He loved to ride his motorcycles, be on the open waters or playing his guitar. He was a very kind hearted man that dedicated his life to those he loved and was loved in turn by many. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his many family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday July 12, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Diabetes Association.
