Eleanor Eichenauer

Eleanor Eichenauer, 62, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN to Guadalupe and Sylvestra Hernandez. She was a 1978 graduate of Wayne High School. Eleanor married Keith Eichenauer on May 10, 1980 and he survives. She worked at CK Products for 20 years. Eleanor enjoyed cooking and gardening. Above all she was a devoted wife and mother and loved her family. Surviving are her children, Paul Eichenauer and Douglas Eichenauer; grandchild, Arianna Marie Eichenauer; siblings, Herb Hernandez, Joseph (Rhonda) Hernandez, Virginia Harris, Sylvia (Gary) Adams, Gloria (Rodney) Christ, Sara (Steven) Hines, Raquel (Jimmy) Klug, and Robert (Vicky) Hernandez; and several loving nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father Guadalupe Hernandez; sister, Patricia Meddellin; brothers, Thomas and Joseph; and niece Susana Lozano. Funeral service 3:00 pm Sunday, July 14, 2019 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home with calling from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm prior to the funeral service.
