Billy Eugene Wright

Wright, Billy Eugene, 36, was called home July 12, 2019. Billy Bob, as he was known was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Teresa; grandparents Billy and Jessie Wright; and aunt, Dawn Bennett. He is survived by his sons, Billy "BJ" and Daniel "Dannybuck"; father, Dennis Saunders; brother, Dennis Wright (Jenny); uncles, Kenny, Richie, and Mark; aunt, Teresa; nephews, Brandon and Sean; and one & only niece, Annie. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Shannon as well as many cousins. Erin, his close friend of many years, will always cherish the memories they shared. Billy Bob never met a stranger he wouldn't give the shirt off his back to, and he taught his boys everything he knew about hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He had an unforgettable personality that can never be duplicated. A visitation will be held from 6pm - 8pm on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an education savings account that Billy Bob set up for his boys at Atlantic Union Bank.
