Starr L Hitzfield

Starr L. Hitzfield, 54, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019. She was born September 9, 1964 in Fort Wayne to the late Michael and Lydal Sprinkle. She was a graduate of Wayne High School and had worked in a number of food service businesses throughout the years in the area. She is survived by her children, Michael Hitzfield and Kristen Hitzfield, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Dannika Wallace, Damya Wallace, Kaylee Hitzfield, and Michaela Hitzfield; brothers, Michael Sprinkle and Rick Sprinkle; and sister, Paula Witte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Douglas Hitzfield in 2017; and sisters, Stacy Sprinkle and Twyla Sprinkle. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery. Contributions in Starr's memory may be made to the Family.
