Obituary of Pamela Rose Baumgartner
Pamela Rose Baumgartner, 69, of St. Petersburg, FL formerly of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on February 12, 2019 in the care of her oldest daughter in Churubusco, IN following a battle with cancer. She was born on August 4, 1949 in Fort Wayne, IN to Robert Stanton and Jessie Rose Stanton (Miller). Pam graduated from Northside High School in 1968. She worked as a waitress in her younger years. Pam then worked in auto detailing for many years before retiring to St. Petersburg, FL. She lived in Florida for 23 years. Pam enjoyed golfing and spending time at the beach. She lived for her children and grandchildren and loved spending quality time with her family and loved ones. Pam was caring and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Survivors include her children; Rena (Scott) Herron of Churubusco, IN, Jeremiah (Kim) Baumgartner of Fort Wayne, IN, and Jessica (Trevor) Hanson of Clearwater, FL, mother, Jessie Rose Miller of Fort Wayne, IN, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, father of her children and best friend, Joe Baumgartner of St. Petersburg, FL, siblings; Robert (Faye) Stanton of Fort Wayne, IN, Patricia (Mathew) Mack of Churubusco, IN, and Elizabeth (David) Barnett of St. Petersburg, FL, Step-siblings; Raymond Miller Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN, Trudy (Louie) Vosmeier of Fort Wayne, IN, and Anne Stanton. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Robert Stanton Sr. and step-father, Raymond Miller Sr. A memorial service in Pam’s honor will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11am with calling one hour prior from 10am-11am at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Memorial donations may be directed to the family to aid in burial expenses. Arrangements entrusted to C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home of Fort Wayne.
