Bonnie Sue (Masters) Troyer, 67, known by her family and friends as Sue, died Sunday morning, August 18, 2019 at her home in Kokomo, Indiana.
Sue was born in 1952 in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia. She received an Associate’s Degree in Business and Economics from WVIT and a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting from WV State. She moved to Kokomo in 1981 with her job at the Water Company where she was a business manager.
Sue was an active member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, where she played music, including violin and hand bells. She also contributed to many community organizations, including Meals on Wheels and Days for Girls, where she shared her gift and skills in sewing. She was an avid quilter and also loved to travel, especially to visit her family in West Virginia.
Sue loved to laugh, and her smile and laughter were wonderful. She adored her pets; Lily Flora, and Hocus. She saw the best in everyone and her love for her family and community was felt deeply.
Sue is survived by her husband, Eldon Troyer; daughters, Melissa Troyer, Mandy Troyer (fiancé, Sinan Ozezer), and Mary (Robert) Granger; sister, Nancy (Zephiniah) Double; brother Michael (Cynthia) Masters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Joe Masters.
Family is planning a Celebration of Life for Sue at a later date.
