Mildred "Millie" L. Hamm

Mildred L. “Millie” Hamm, 86, of Spencer and formerly of Whitehall died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Owen County Health Campus. She was born January 16, 1933 in Shoals, Indiana to Lawrence McGee and Emily Nikam McGee. She had been a Nurse’s Assistant at Bloomington Hospital for many years. Survivors include a step daughter, Sandra Ann Fulford of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Hattie (husband Troy) Greene, Steven Ray (wife Melissa) Fulford and Amy Sue (husband Kevin) Myers all of Monroe County; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Wylie Hamm; a brother, Bob McGee; three sisters, Suzanne Thompson, Ruth Keys and Hazel Peffley; and a son in law, Ray Fulford. Millie had been a member of the Whitehall Holiness Church. She enjoyed crocheting and her animals; Millie had several dogs and cats and was always willing to give a stray a home. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W Gourley Pike. Graveside Services will be on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM in Valhalla Memory Gardens, 310 N Johnson Ave with Pastor Michael Douglas officiating.
