Huroy "Billy" Settle

Huroy “Billy” Settle, 90, passed away September 5, 2019 at Poets Walk, Warrenton, Virginia. He was born May 25, 1929 to Harry and Rosie Wharton Settle. Billy was a farmer and a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Reva, Virginia. Billy is survived by his wife, Hazel Settle; children, Harry Dean Settle (Judy) and Cathy J. Andino; siblings, Anna Mae Gore and Carroll Snead Settle; step-children, Dale Edwards (Windy), Debora Embrey; step-grandchildren, Brittany Eckert, Sarah Embrey and Ryan Edwards; and step-great-grandchildren, Jace Eckert and Bryn Eckert. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Alan Settle, grandson, PFC Edwin A. “E.J.” Andino, II and siblings, Harry Brown, Lois Elizabeth, Charles Russell, Brueton Franklin, Lee Taylor and Fred Thomas Settle. A funeral service will be Monday, September 9, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 6262 Hoover Road, Reva, Virginia. A time of visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, General Delivery, Reva, Virginia 22735.
