She married William Ronald Leslie on July 20, 1970. Sandi is survived by her husband, Ron Leslie of Terre Haute; daughters, Georgeanna Reedy-Rankin of San Antonio, TX; Cassandra Potts of Memphis, TN; and Ronni “Raynae” Leslie and son-in-law Dan Draper of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, William Raymond Leslie-Holt, Kyleigh Nichole Leslie-Holt, Lena Taylor Leslie-Holt, Daniel Hopkins, Seth Hopkins, Joseph Hopkins, Andrew Derrick, and Sarah Derrick; and a great-granddaughter, Andrea Derrick; brothers, Danny Bowen, Tim Bowen, Lonnie Bowen and Kim Bowen; sister, Sherry Bowen; and several nieces and nephews. She worked for several years at Walmart on the south side of Terre Haute where she greeted customers and helped out wherever she was needed. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting from Ivy Tech. In her spare time, Sandi enjoyed crocheting, camping, and teasing her beloved dogs, Sampson and Wolf. She always looked forward to fall festivals, especially the Cory Apple Festival, Popcorn Festival, and the Covered Bridge Festival. An impulse shopper, Sandi was a fan of QVC and anywhere else she could find a surprise gift for someone. She enjoyed surprising people with her random generosity and always put everyone else’s needs before her own. She was feisty and strong willed. Sandi will be deeply missed. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11 in Roselawn Memorial Park. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
