Lester "Les" L. Fox

Lester "Les" L. Fox, age 83, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday September 7, 2019. Lester was born January 18, 1936 in Shelby Co., Indiana to the late Ida (Wilkins) Fox and Chancy Fox. He is also preceded in death by his son, Randy Fox. Lester was a US Army 11th Airborne veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 327 and VFW Post 2999. He worked as a truck driver before working at Chrysler Corporation for 32 years. He could and would fix anything that was broken and enjoyed betting horses, gambling, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a true family man.
Lester is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Patrica (Keeney) Fox; daughter, Teresa (Fox) Howard; son, Keith Glencer; grandson, Ryan Meyer; and granddaughter, Jenna Lynn Fox.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Concord Cemetery, Morristown, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 8414 Franciscan Ln., Indianapolis, Indiana 46237.
