Phyllis J. Fisher, 85 of Huntington passed away at 10:47 pm on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Phyllis attended Huntington High School and later received her GED. She had owned and operated Eatza Pizza in Markle and later owned an exercise & tanning salon in Huntington. She was the manager of Marsh Floral Shop and owned and operated Keefer Flower Peddler Floral Shop. Phyllis had attended Good Shepherd Church. She enjoyed gardening and was a master gardener. Phyllis also enjoyed sewing, flower arranging and crafts. She was an avid collector of anything Currier & Ives. She volunteered at Victory Noll making blankets and hats. Phyllis was born on July 5, 1934 in Huntington, the daughter of William and Alberta (Reynolds) Jones. She was united in marriage to Bradley Crawford, he preceded her in death. She later married Lynn Fisher, he preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter: Kathy (Ron) Carnes of Huntington; three sons: Thomas (Amy) Crawford of Belbrook, OH; Douglas (Sue) Crawford of Wolcottville, IN; David (Mary) Crawford of Twin Falls, Idaho; a sister: Judy Nekola; her companion: Muriel Dickerson of Bluffton; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: William Jones and two sisters: Dorothy Brake and Patty Whitted. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Bobby Kemp officiating. Interment will take place at the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made out to American Cancer Society Relay for Life in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
