Jade Michael Cook

Jade Michael Cook, 47, of Kokomo, passed away Sunday September 15, 2019. He was born September 17, 1971 to the late Donald "Skip" Cook and Joyce Lynn Mills in Kansas.
He graduated from Tri Central High School in Sharpsville and earned an associate's degree from Ball State with general sciences. He was recently employed with Snavely Machines and NHK. Jade was a grateful recovering addict, currently participating in the Howard County re-entry court program. By participating in this program, Jade was able to rebuild his life and overcome addiction. He was a talented tattoo artist, working in various shops through out his life in Kokomo and is well known for his artwork. Jade enjoyed riding side by side on his Harley with his son Michael.
Jade loved his family and proud of his children and grandchildren. His family is proud of his achievements and overcoming the hard path he was previously attached to.
Surviving Jade is his son Michael Cook and his wife Shelby, daughter Cadance Reiter, brother David Combs, sister Donnel Wright, grandchildren Jade Cook III, Harley Cook, and Kash Cook, several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life for Jade will take place at Ellers Mortuary on Webster Street Sunday September 22, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. There will be a moment of prayer and discussion beginning at 5:30pm. We will go in procession at 6:15 in a "Tribute Ride", following Michael, to honor his father.
