Linda Darlene Liberty

Linda Darlene Liberty, 69, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019. She was born on October 13, 1949 in Terre Haute to Joseph Cox and Dorothy Stockwell Cox. Linda married the love of her life, Albert A. Liberty on January 7, 1967. She and Albert served as Foster Parents for over 200 children of the Wabash Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving is her husband of 52 years, Albert; children, Al Liberty, Jr. and wife April, Angela Liberty and husband Ronald VanPelt, Joseph Liberty and wife Molly, Lauralee Liberty and fiancée Emil Ogborn, and Matthew Liberty; a sister, Judy Aiken and companion George Baker; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Scosha, Jade Liberty, Michael Miller and wife Ashley, Brianna Hiatt, Savannah Toney, and Sierra Aberegg and husband Brandon; and two great-grandchildren, Silas Aberegg and Alaina Liberty. Linda was a long time active member of Father's Glory Church in Pimento, and loved to cook and garden. She and Albert enjoyed fishing together, and spending time with the grandkids. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 1 P.M. at Roselawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Swan officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
