Marilyn Lee Ridgeway, 85, of Kokomo passed away September 21 in Indianapolis. She was born April 27, 1934 in Frankfort, Indiana to Elebee and Delena (Smith) Campbell.
Marilyn graduated from Kokomo High School in 1952 and went on to work at Delco Electronics as Chief Telephone Operator; she retired from Delco in 1985. She and Robert Ridgeway raised a lovely daughter, Vickie. Marilyn was a member of the First Christian Church in Kokomo and the Energy Club. She enjoyed walking around her neighborhood, and when it was cold, the Markland Mall. Marilyn shared many lunches with a group of special friends and was key in organizing her high school reunions. She was funny and outgoing and loved her family dearly. She spent many birthdays and holidays with them, and will be missed greatly.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Wilson) Binford; granddaughters, Paige Ridgeway and Melissa Binford; nephew, Jeff Lamberson; great nephew, Jeffrey Lamberson; and two stepsiblings.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister Laura, and a stepsister.
Family will receive friends Thursday, September 26 at 10am at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902, with burial to follow at 11am.
