David Christopher Lohss On Sunday, September 22, 2019, David, 28, passed away in his home in Carmel, IN. David was born August 16, 1991 in Indianapolis, IN to his loving parents D. Brian Lohss and Paula (Detrick) Lohss. He was baptized and confirmed at Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Carmel, IN. David was a 2010 Carmel High School graduate and was working to finish his degree in Database Management. He was an avid volleyball player and coach, a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at Purdue University, and a lover of all things outdoors. Some of his favorite memories were made in Northern Michigan with his family, especially with his wife Re’Ana and beautiful daughter Catherine. David also enjoyed golfing, working on cars, and often making jokes at all the wrong times. Those close to David remember his high energy and ability to befriend any stranger. David is survived by his parents, D. Brian and Paula (Detrick) Lohss; his wife Re’Ana (German) Lohss; his daughter Catherine Lohss; his sister Amy (Lohss) Vaal (Jared); his grandmothers Marilyn Lohss and Betty Detrick; as well as countless, supportive aunts, uncles, and cousins. David is preceded in death by his grandfathers David E. Lohss and Paul Detrick. Visitation for David will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Cornerstone Lutheran Church (4850 E. Main Street, Carmel, IN 46033), followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm.
