John David Cunningham

John David Cunningham, 56, of Marion, passed away at 4:48 AM Monday October 28, 2019 at I.U. Health-Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana. Born March 4, 1963 in Kokomo, he was the son of Valerie (Hobson) Cunningham of Kokomo and the late John James Cunningham. He was a 1982 graduate of Kokomo High School. On March 4, 1997 in Kokomo, he married Diana Lynn (Skeens). He had been employed at Indiana Packers, Kokomo Healthcare, and most recently Living Essentials in Wabash, Indiana. He enjoyed working on cars and electronics, taking things apart to find out how they work, then putting them back together; also enjoyed listening to music. Survivors include his wife of over 22 years, Diana Lynn Cunningham of Marion; his mother Valerie Cunningham of Kokomo; a step-son Robert (Savannah) Skeens; a step-daughter April (Joe) Henchon; two brothers Eric (Betty) Cunningham and Tom Cunningham and wife Gwen Abney-Cunningham; a half sister Terri (Ken) Carter, four grandchildren, one niece and two nephews Sarah, Zachary and William Cunningham. He was preceded in death by his father John James Cunningham and a half-sister Debbie Cook. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday November 9, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana. Pastor David Osborne will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday at the mortuary.
