Roger Rene Pizarroso, 78, passed away, November 26, 2019, with his family by his side in Annandale, VA.
He was born September 26, 1941 in La Paz, Bolivia.
He worked many years for Fairfax County Public Schools as a bus driver. He is survived by his son, Miguel Angel Pizarroso, his sister, Nora Garcia (Julio) and two grandchildren. He is preceded by his wife, Angelica Angelita Pizarroso.
He attended Universidad Mayor de San Andres in La Paz, Bolivia. He graduated September 22nd of 1962 with a Bachelors in Human Studies.
His interests included family, biking, reading, sports, parties, and outdoor activities. He was devoted to his family. He loved the Cowboys and to tease his son and family how the Redskins never stood a chance. He loved food, to dance and celebrate life with friends and family.
He was a very stubborn and strict man with the most caring heart. He only wanted what was best for his family.
He was a fighter until the end. He always wanted to test the limits and wouldn’t accept restrictions until the very end. He was cherished and extremely loved.
A Mass of Catholic Burial for Roger Rene will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Hwy, Fairfax, VA 22030. A cremation will occur. Interment of Ashes will be located at Columbia Gardens Cemetery 3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201.
