Leah Marie Weber

Leah Marie Weber, age 39, from Ft Wayne In. passed away Thursday evening, December the 5th after being tragically struck by a car while walking across Anthony Blvd. close to her home. She was preceded in death by her mother Debra Marie Budzon Weber who passed away in 2005 of cancer. She is survived in death by 1 son Dylan Jordan Weber age 22 of Ft Wayne, In., a grandson Chandler Jordan Weber age 2, her father Jon E Weber of Ft Wayne, In and 1 brother, Logan Daniel Weber of New Haven, In. At the age of 17 Leah was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer and was given no hope of survival. She demonstrated her love for people and her very giving heart by choosing to enter into a very aggressive clinical trial. She said that if it could possibly help someone else she would do it. Out of 12 patients included she was the only one to survive. The effects of the treatment caused Leah to live her adult life with both physical and mental issues that caused her struggles and limited her in daily life however she never lost her heart to love and help people. She had a hug and smile for everyone and was always quick to offer help in any way she could to someone with a need. She is loved and will be missed. Funeral service for Leah will be 1:00 PM Friday December 13, 2019 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave Fort Wayne IN, with calling one hour prior.
