Obituary of Kevin W. Chapel Sr.
Kevin W. Chapel Sr., 60, of Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 2:32 A.M. at Community North Hospital. He was born to John Chapel and Patricia (Smillie) Price on September 5, 1959 in Howard County, Indiana. Kevin had his own landscaping business called, KC Landscaping, for some time. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and brothers. Kevin also enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening and landscaping, bonfires and watching NASCAR. He also flew his own Roller Pigeons and played pool in his spare time, where he received awards. Kevin also did Amateur Ham CB radio, his handle was KC Kilowatt. He is survived by son, Kevin (Vickie) W. Chapel Jr.; four daughters, Heather Chapel, Trianna (Brandon) Mulvaney, Kati Chapel, and Melissa Leap; his mother, Patricia Price; 21 grandchildren, Jesse Freeman, Khieler Chapel, L'ena Chapel, Tristian Chapel, Hayley Chapel, Xavier McKinney, Dameon Nava, Karstin Chapel, Miracle Chapel, Clayton Chapel, Kaden Chapel, Kalob Chapel, Kay-Leigh Chapel, Saxon Mulvaney, Taylar Mulvaney, Tylar Mulvaney, Nova Mulvaney, Baby Mulvaney, Anna Fisher, Briannah Rohrabaugh, Alexiah Rohrabaugh; and great-grandchild, Keylani Schreyer; five brothers, Danny (Christina) Chapel, Guy (Cathy) Chapel, Robert Chapel, Steve Chapel, and Brian (Terri) Chapel; several nieces and nephews; mothers of his children, Teresa Chapel and Derinda Altherr. He is preceded in death by his father, John Chapel; and grandchild, Amirra Nava. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, January 29, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M., at Ellers Mortuary Main Chapel, 725 South Main Street, Kokomo with Pastor Robert Morphew officiating. Burial will follow to Kokomo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Kevin to the American Cancer Society and/or Kokomo Rescue Mission, envelopes will be provided.
