Michelle Lynn Whitacre

Michelle Lynn Whitacre, 49, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital. Born September 17, 1970 in Columbus, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Lenamae D. (Kirtman) Manning and Jerry L. Manning Sr., who survives. She was a homemaker & mother; and enjoyed roofing when she found the opportunity. An avid gardener, Michelle had the gift to grow and nurture plants/flowers. She is also survived by her children, Tristina Lesure of Fort Wayne, Kayla Smith of Fort Wayne, Samantha Lesure of Fort Wayne, David Harless of New Haven, and Kyler Harless of New Haven; four grandchildren, Justin Jr., 9 years old, Leila Mae, 5 years old, Averie Ann, 4 years old, and Korbin David, 2 years old; brothers, Darrell Manning of Greensburg, Ind., Jerry Manning of Texas, and William "Billy" Manning of Fort Wayne; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
