Susana Luna Cuellar, age 76, of Fort Wayne, Ind., went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2020 at Saint Anne’s surrounded by her family. Susana was born July 7, 1943 in Austin, Texas, to the late Alfonso Perez and Susana (Luna) Perez. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, walking, playing bingo, and pajama partying with her sisters. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Fort Wayne. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Susana is survived by four children, Trina Ochoa and John Cortez, both of Fort Wayne, Richard (Kelly) Cortez of Toledo, Ohio, and Maria (Doug) Fischer of Churubusco, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Agedita Trejo of Austin, Texas, and Rosetta (Jack) Merillat of Hudson, Michigan; three sisters-in-law, Carol, Lucy, and Irene Perez; two brothers-in-law, Eli Pina and Efrian Canales; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by six brothers, Roland, Regino, John, Joe, Raul, and Jim Perez; three sisters, Gloria Flores, Margaret Pina, Rebecca Canales; one grandchild, Alex Snyder; and son-in-law, Danny Ochoa. A Celebration of Life is 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Voight’s Retreat, 7831 Seiler Road, New Haven, with visitation one hour prior. Burial is on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Archbold Cemetery, Archbold, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Matthew 25. For online condolences, please visit www.advantagehighlandpark.com.
