David Wayne Opsahl, 56, of Stafford Virginia passed away January 28, 2020.
David is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Opsahl; his sons, Hans James Robert Opsahl and Lars Adam Opsahl; his daughters, Ashley Alice Opsahl Larson (Sean), Kirsten Naomi Opsahl and Elsa Michelle Opsahl; his stepdaughters, Caitlin Danielle Kummer and Mackenzie May Kummer; and his mother Martha Jeanne Reynolds.
He will also be greatly missed by his two grandchildren, Iain Ashton Larson and Gustine Alice Larson; his sister, Karen Mahon; and his brothers Michael Opsahl (Megen), Robert Opsahl, and Eric Opsahl (Susan).
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Opsahl.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel.
A funeral service for David will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1399 Courthouse Rd. Stafford, VA 22554.
Mr. Opsahl will have a visitation from 12:00pm-1:30pm at Dunbar Funeral Home, Columbia, South Carolina on February 4, 2020 with his interment to follow at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
