Wayne McCuan, most recently of Eva, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Evansville, Indiana from a lengthy illness. It was his desire to be cremated and Alexander Funeral Home West in Evansville will be handling the cremation. It was also his desire not to have a visitation or a service. Condolences can be shared with the family on his online obituary at https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries. His ashes will be buried alongside his parents in Zion Cemetery in Ozark, Illinois.
Wayne was born on April 25, 1953 in Anna, Illinois to Leo and Lucille (Stricker) McCuan. He lived with his family in Vienna, Illinois until they relocated to Carlock, Illinois when he was just a boy. He was a graduate of Normal Community High School, Normal, Illinois. He married the former Judy Miller of Illinois in April 1977. They divorced in 2002. He eventually moved to Eva, Tennessee with his father.
He is survived by his son Ryan (Ashley) McCuan, grandchildren Zander and Kya, all of Evansville; siblings Donna (Richard) Pinkley, Ron (Linda) McCuan, Jim McCuan, all of Illinois and Patty (Jim) Born of Camden, Tennessee.
Wayne was in his element when he was outdoors, either hunting, fishing, tending to his garden and yard or sitting in his swing on the back porch.
