Obituary of Harry L. Ennis
Harry L. Ennis was born on July 21, 1958 to the late Luther and Betty Ennis in Omaha, Nebraska. Harry was the fourth of eight children born to this union. God called him home on February 7, 2020. At an early age he accepted Christ as his lord and Savior. He and his siblings were raised in the church and at an early age God revealed to him the concept of unconditional love. This unconditional was evident in how he blessed his family and friends with his overflowing and overwhelmingly selfless concern and giving. Throughout his lifetime his only objective in life was to help anyone who crossed his path. He is a graduate of Shortridge High School and served his country as an United States Marine. He was known for his humor, dancing, and his impeccable style in the way he dressed. Family was and will always be his first love. Their welfare, safety, and security was his mission. He was known for giving personal nick names to his bothers, sisters, many nephews, nieces, and friends. He never shied away from his gift to teach how to live by the way he loved, gave, and forgave. His love of befriending people was infectious. Once you met him you immediately had to tell someone about him. He is survived by his siblings William Palmer, Charlotte Martin, Debra Ennis, Brenda Ennis, Paul Ennis, Phillip Ennis, and Brian Ennis and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral Service for Harry will be held, 12:00 pm, Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples' Chapel, 5252 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm, all taken place at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home.
