Robert J. "Bob" Plymire

Robert “Bob” J. Plymire, 62, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. He was born on January 25, 1958 in Evansville, IN to Max and Beverly Plymire.
Bob worked in the Engineering Department of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility for 35 years. After retiring, he and his wife Brenda volunteered for Meals on Wheels. He loved interacting with people and was always ready to help anyone. Bob enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and playing pool. He was also a Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed all the trips and activities with the Boy Scouts.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Max C. Plymire.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Brenda (Seals) Plymire; son, Jonathan Plymire (Amy); mother, Beverly (Plymire) Sunderman (Marvin); brother, Charles “Chuck” Plymire (Becky); sisters, Donna Nelson (Harold) and Cathy Burns; also, aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Alexander North Chapel, with Rev. Emily Slade officiating. Friends may visit Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Locust Hill Cemetery at a later date.
