James Trinkle

James D. Trinkle, 83, passed away Saturday, March 21 at his home. James was born January 9, 1937 and was the son of Ray and Ruby Pace. He achieved a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University and worked at Cummins for 33 years. After he retired, he returned to Cummins as a consultant and continued to work for a number of years. James married Carol (Hall) Trinkle and they spent 63 years together before she preceded him in death September 3, 2019. He was a fan of NASCAR, IU Basketball, and enjoyed woodworking. James was also a long-time member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie (Mike) Miller, his granddaughter, Shawna Miller, his brother, Dr. Pat Trinkle, and his sister-in-law, Vickie Trinkle. James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Trinkle; his daughter, Connie Baggs; grandson, Derek Miller; and brother, Jamie Trinkle.
