Jane Marie Diehl

Jane M Diehl passed away at the age of 68 on June 6, 2020 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph T. and Alice L. (Welch) Clifford and her brother Robert J. Clifford. She is survived by her son William Diehl, siblings Dick and Mary Lou Eddy, Kathy Gement, JT Clifford, Dick Clifford, Shaun Clifford (Bob) and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and lots and lots of cousins. Jane was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis and a long-time civil servant. She issued hundreds of marriage licenses to soon-to-be-wed couples and enjoyed helping so many. She was, to everyone who knew her, one of the kindest persons around. She was loved and will be missed dearly. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 beginning at 10:30 am with the funeral following at noon at St Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220.
