Irvin Quick, Jr.

Irvin Quick, Jr., age 76, of Bloomington passed away Saturday (06/06/2020) at the Kindred Hospital in Indianapolis. Born February 13, 1944, he was the son of Irvin Quick, Sr. and Martha (Copenhaven) Quick. Irvin worked as an independent transporter. He loved listening to music, especially Elvis Presley and watching western movies. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge. Irvin is survived by his long-time companion, Sue (Nowling) Payne, of Bloomington; two daughters, Sherry (Don) Kindred and Bonnie Quick Rodman, both of Bloomington, one son, Loren (Misty) Jacobs, of Ellettsville; five sisters, Phyllis, Charlotte, Patricia, Donna and Debbie and one brother, Dennis, ten grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. Irvin was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Quick, Sr. and Martha (Copenhaven) Quick New, one brother, Everett Quick and one daughter, Tammy Mathis. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
