Randy J. Baryo, 69 of Huntington passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the Markle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Markle. Randy attended Central High School in Battle Creek, Michigan. He worked as a sheet metal mechanic from 1969 – 1977. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1977 – 1981 and was in the Air Force Reserves until 1983. He worked as a civil service employee for the federal government at K. I. Sawyer Air Force Base until his retirement. Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, RVing, boating, skiing, bowling and football. His favorite football team was the Detroit Lions, favorite hockey team was the Detroit Red Wings and he enjoyed NASCAR races and wrestling. Randy coached Little League baseball, children’s bowling and Pee Wee football.
He was born on May 26, 1951 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Ira J. and Doris J. (Carr) Baryo.
He was united in marriage to Paula Palmer on June 7, 1969 in Bedford, Michigan. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters: Angela (Angel) Rojas of Cibolo, TX; Amy (Brandon) Bruce of Hart, MI; a son: Trever (Stephanie) Baryo of Gwinn, MI; a sister: Susan Hickman of Battle Creek, MI; six grandchildren: Sofia, Amy, Seth, Chad, Krysten, Holly and five nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private graveside service will be at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
