Karen Murphy

Karen Leigh Murphy, 78, of Greencastle passed away on June 14, 2020, at Hickory Creek at Sunset. Karen was born in Belle Union on March 7, 1942, the daughter of Richard Dennis and Myrle (McCammack) Coffman, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School. Mrs. Murphy was a member of Grace Apostolic Church in Greencastle. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Rodas, Plainfield; a brother, Marlin Coffman, Arizona; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Murphy; a daughter Jamie Craig; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Craig. The family would like to thank Hickory Creek for taking such good care of her, and becoming part of their extended family. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2020, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from Noon until time of service.
