Kenneth "Butch" R. Hoover

Kenneth R. “Butch” Hoover, 72, died Monday June 22, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd. Kenneth was born December 14, 1947 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Elmer and Alice (Speier) Hoover and was retired after 27 years with General Electric Company in Louisville, Kentucky. “Butch” was a member of the N.R.A., Music Box Society International, the Indiana Speleological Survey and Squire Boone Caverns and Airman 1st, Class veteran of the U.S.A.F. Butch will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. He is survived by a sister, Shirley Manring; four nieces, Kendra Sikes (Mike), Kea Manring (Shane), Kamala Manring, Kimberly Manring, and one nephew Kevin Manring (Brenda). Also a Special thanks to his caregivers; Shanda and Eddie Henry. Services and care are entrusted to Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Road New Albany, IN 47150. Private service and burial will be in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Squire Boone Caverns or the charity of one’s choice.
