Betty Louise Harden

Betty Louise Harden, went home to Jesus on June 26, 2020, at the age of 77. Betty was born to the late Stacy and Zella Robertson on September 17, 1942.
Betty met her husband of 55 years, Richard "Dick" Harden at A&W Root Beer stand in Bloomington, IN. They married two years later on March 5, 1965 and went on to have three children, Cindy (Frank) Schafer, Connie (Mike) Smith, and Mickey (Melissa) Harden, who inter blessed her with five grandchildren, Richard Glenn Schafer, Quintin (Emily) Harden, Tyler Schafer, Phillip (Shelby) Cromwell, and Sarah Schafer; two granddaughters, Tyler and Allyson Smith; a loving sister, Dorothy May; and a large extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Lewis, Doyle, and Jessie Robertson.
Betty loved to sew, take pictures, and cook for her family. She was known for her chocolate chip cookies and fried chicken.
Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, a sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home and prior to the service on Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
