Obituary of Tiffany Jane Burcham
Tiffany Jane Burcham May 18, 1970 – June 26, 2020 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 Tiffany Jane Burcham, 50, of Fort Wayne, Indiana moved into her eternal home on June 26, 2020, surrounded by her family at Parkview Hospital Randallia Hospice due to complications from Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer that she battled with courage and humor for the past three years. This bright light, this incredible person with beautiful, expressive green eyes and a smile to light up the world was born in Huntington, West Virginia on May 18, 1970, and grew up in Chesapeake, Ohio. She moved to The Woodlands, Texas, to begin her senior year in high school graduating from McCullough High School in 1988. In 2009, she moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to be with family. Tiffany liked to travel and especially loved the beach. She had a degree for massage therapy and a Texas Paralegal Certification, which she found particularly exciting and challenging. Tiffany also enjoyed The Casa Grille Italiano and the people and friends she made while working as a server. She deeply loved her family, friends, pets, and home, and she also loved her flower gardens, art, HGTV, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy. She was devastated by her brother’s death in 2018 but carried on her own health battle of breast cancer with bravery, perseverance, and laughter. Tiffany was always very witty and fun-loving and enjoyed making other people laugh. She also greatly enjoyed attending concerts (like The Smashing Pumpkins) with her fiancé, Lane, and friends as well as accomplishing bucket-list items like glassblowing and making terrariums. Tiffany was kind, giving, and compassionate, and she will be missed by many; a deep chasm exists in the hearts of those who loved her. Tiffany is survived by her Mother, Marsha Burcham; fiancé, Lane Miller, his two children, Morgan and Cameron Miller; Aunts: Mary Burcham, Betty Burcham, Doris Graham, Jo Lynn (George) McKnight, and Pamela (Rick) Lashley; Uncle Clarence Copley; and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Burcham; brother, Shannon M. Burcham; Paternal Grandparents, Alta and Hazel Burcham, and Maternal Grandparents, Joseph and Shirley (Moorhead) Frieze; Aunt Phyllis Copley; Uncles: Sam (Burcham) Graham, Gene Burcham, and Dale Burcham. In lieu of flowers and because she loved animals, especially her dogs, Oscar and Bronko, please consider making a memorial contribution in Tiffany’s name to your local Animal Shelter or to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at D. O. Mc Comb & Sons Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Pamela Lashley officiating. Following the service, a luncheon will be provided at 8022 Casa Grande Ct., Ft. Wayne, IN 46815.
