Obituary of Timothy A Denton
On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, Timothy A Denton, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at age 44 at his home in Noblesville, Indiana, after a long illness. Tim was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Gerald and Diana (Fry) Denton. He received his Bachelors Degree in Organ Performance from the University of Louisville and his Masters Degree in Organ Performance and Church Music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in May, 2003. He was a music director and accomplished church organist for 25 years at various churches in Fort Wayne and the Indianapolis area. He composed two choral pieces, Bless the Lord, and Sing to the Lord a New Song. He performed in recitals and concerts across the country. On April 14, 2007, he married Michelle M. Schneider.They have two children, Adrian and Kerrigan. Tim had a love for hymn playing, liturgy, and choral music, as well as rap music. He cheered on the Indianapolis Colts and discussed politics and current events with friends in local pubs and coffee shops. He loved to travel and was an excellent cook. He loved participating in activities and being silly with his family. One of his favorite quotations was: He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist. St. Francis of Assisi Tim is survived by his wife, Michelle, and his two children, Adrian and Kerrigan; his mother, Diana and his father, Gerald. He is also survived by his brothers, Eric and Adam (Kelly Raines), as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Due to the Corona Virus pandemic, a private funeral service will be held. A celebration of Tims life will be held as soon as conditions permit.
