Rev William Frank Armstrong

Rev. William Frank Armstrong, 73, passed away on July 28, 2020. He was born in Chicago, Il on April 28, 1947, the son of the late Rev. Frank and Jeannette Armstrong. Bill grew up in Clyde, OH and Woodburn, IN and attended middle and high school in Hamilton, OH and attended Fort Wayne Bible College. He served as part time youth pastor at West Berne Missionary Church where he met his wife of 52 years Ronnette Luginbill. Bill served as associate pastor and youth pastor at Harvester Ave Missionary Church and Northside Missionary Church in Ft. Wayne, IN; New Haven Missionary Church, New Haven, IN and Rona Missionary in Fairborn, OH. He served in pastoral ministry for over 50 years having served as the Central District of the Missionary Church Youth Director, Church Planting Pastor of Eastlake Community Church, in San Diego, CA, Operational Director and later Director of the Church Multiplication Training Center, Associate Pastor of First Missionary Church, Ft. Wayne, IN, and Founder/Director of Missional Strategies Group, INC. He was the best friend of his wife, Ronnette and loved his children and grandchildren. He loved people and spending time with them, sharing stories, and building relationships. Bill was an avid sports fan, having enjoyed coaching for many years. Bill was also a trumpet player, talented musician and enjoyed sharing music with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Ronnette Armstrong; children, Daren (Manuela) Armstrong, Melissa Armstrong, Greg Armstrong, and Amanda (Paul) Circle; grandchildren, Zion, Hadassah, and Emily Armstrong, Trinity Aust and Ryan Armstrong; and sister, Elaine (Bob) Porch. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Life Community Church, 7222 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
