Emetta (Mays) Sizemore, 81, passed away Saturday August 29, 2020, at her home in Connersville, Indiana.
Emetta was born on January 27, 1939, in McKee, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Caner and Rosa Gray Mays. Emetta married the late Alfred Lucas Sizemore, on March 12, 1960 and they were able to spend forty-seven beautiful years together. Emetta loved beautiful flowers, her family, family dinners, picnics and camping trips. She lived life to its fullest enjoying all those moments that God blessed her with.
Emetta is survived by her children and their spouses: Lonnie Wayne and Tonya Sizemore of Connersville; Alfred Lucas Sizemore Jr. and Barbara of North Vernon, Indiana; daughter: Marcia Lynn Meadows and Jeffery of Liberty, Indiana; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother: Henry Clay and sister: Clara; several nieces and nephews,
Emetta was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Loyd Roberts Mays, Boyd Jay Mays, Daniel Edquar Mays, her sisters: Ivory and Beatrice.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Park Road Christian Center with Pastors Jeff and Marcia Meadows of New Life Ministries will officiate the service. Friends may visit at the church from 12 p.m. until time of the service. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Garden of Memories.
