Robyn P. Pagán
July 3, 1949 – October 12, 2020

Robyn P. Pagán, 71, passed away on October 12, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 3, 1949, in Mt. Vernon, NY, the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Cribari) Dessner.
Robyn attended National College of Education in Evanston, Ill and Purdue University, formerly known as Indiana University of Fort Wayne where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Sociology.
Robyn was a foster care case worker and mostly worked with children through her professional career. She worked at Fort Wayne Mental Health Center for 7 years with adolescents, and also as a case worker in Ohio for a short time.
Robyn was a founding member of Aboite Lutheran Church where she served as Director of the children's program. She was also the owner/operator of Robyn's Nest Childcare.
In her spare time she enjoyed painting, cross-stitching, journaling, reading, and mostly spending time and teaching her grandkids.
Most importantly, Robyn was a follower of Jesus.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Richard Pagán; children, Josh (Lori) Pagán and Kristin (Kim) Thompson; grandchildren, Kim III, Malachi, Isaac; siblings, Steve Dessner, David Dessner, Jill Hiss, Nina Dessner, and Hugh Dessner.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Aboite Lutheran Church, 10312 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with calling one hour prior.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Greenlawn Funeral Home 6000 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Aboite Lutheran Church.
