Norma J. Templeton

Norma J. Templeton, 95, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 10:20 pm. She was the daughter of Harry and Vema Jackson. She graduated from Burney High School in 1942 and Indiana Business College in 1943. She married Gene R. Templeton on October 29, 1945 in Columbus, Georgia. Gene passed away November 3, 2014 after celebrating their 69th Wedding Anniversary. They were blessed with three sons, Daryl (Karen) Templeton, and Don Templeton. Son Dwain (Pat) Templeton preceded her in death. She is survived by six grandchildren, Tammy (Mike) Baughman, Janet (Chris), Angie Templeton, Chad (Felicia) Templeton, Nick (Mieko) Templeton and Scott (Lyndsey) Templeton. Norma is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Freda McCann of Kokomo and Maxine Stelle of Greensburg, and a brother William Jackson of Greensburg. There will be a private funeral service held for Norma’s family with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Our Hospice.
