Sam "Curt" Curtis Snider

SNIDER, Sam "Curt" Curtis, 83, of Ashland, VA, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen G. Snider, his parents Dean and Bonnie Snider, brothers Spencer and Perry Snider, sisters, Ruth Six, Mildred Hill and Mary Stump. Curt was a very talented carpenter and was always in demand by family and friends. He worked for Holder Brothers Construction for many years, and continued using his skill doing side jobs until retiring. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Curt is survived by his step-children, Sandra Scott (David), Barbara and Mark Seay; grandchildren; Ryan and Jonathan Gayle, Amber Seay and Makayla Scott; brother; Mason Snider (Betty); sisters; Helen Lilly and Betty Patterson and many nieces and nephews and their children. A Celebration of life will follow in the early spring due to COVID. His step-children will reach out to the family when a date is planned.
