John Craig Collins, 70, of Nineveh died December 15, 2020 in his home with his family at his side. He was born December 30, 1949 in Clinton, Iowa to Norman Pierre Collins and Wilma Schultz Collins. He was retired from the United States Post Office.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Crouch Collins of Nineveh; three sons, Jason (Emiko) Collins of New Whiteland, Cody (Erica) Collins of Charlotte, NC and Jake (Kristen) Collins of Evanston, IL; three grandchildren, Luke, Maddie and Abby Collins; a sister, Shelly (Chuck) Collins Edwards Haase of St. Louis; a brother, Randall (Mary) Collins of Georgia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Pierre Collins; his mother, Wilma Stirnitzke; and his step father, Charles Stirnitzke.
John loved spending time and camping with his family; he was a veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps; he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, 4 wheeling and canoeing.
There will be a brief family gathering on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home before going to Brown County Memorial Park for burial where Military Honors will be given by the Brown County Veterans Honor Guard.
