Doris Evelyn Batton

Doris Evelyn Batton, 93, of Mechanicsville, went to be with The Lord on Monday, December 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Shaun Adam Hanna. Doris is survived by her sons, Henry and Kevin Weidman; daughters, Susan Somma and Marcia Hanna; grandchildren, Jeremy Hanna (Megan), Kasey Weidman (Kandy), and Deborah; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Gabriel Hanna; and four-legged grandson, Keisel. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116. A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Woody Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 8209 Shady Grove Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
