Ray Elder Aitkins III

Ray Elder Aitkins III, 48, of Fort Wayne Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Ray was born on June 6, 1972 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The only child of Jacqueline Anstrom and the light of her life! Ray lived several years in Texas, to be near his mother, before returning to home in Indiana after her passing. He was a graduate of North Side High School in Fort Wayne Indiana. Ray proudly served in the United States Navy for four years. While in the Navy, Ray earned his Associates Degree in Computer Technology. He worked in retail as a manager for over 20 years. Ray was an avid cat lover and enjoyed online gaming. Through gaming he met and made many friends! Ray is survived by a son, Tyler and Aunt LaVonne (Keith) Ammerman of Lewistown, Pennsylvania. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline (Anstrom) Hart in 2019 ,with Ray by her side, and grandmother, Betty M. Crownover, of Lewistown Pennsylvania in 1996. At Ray's request, there will be no services. I would like to thank Rob Volk for his many years of friendship and support and the many people who have reached out to me with kind works and fond memories.
