Manfred Fenger

In loving memory of Fred, 92 years old, who peacefully left us on December 30th at his home in Governor’s Land Virginia. Fred was the loving and caring husband of Diana Fenger, who loved him dearly. He was an amazing father to Laura Fenger-Bernier, and Ronald Schmitt Fenger. Fred was born in Mt. Vernon, New York. During the Second World War, as a child, Fred lived with his family in Germany from 1938-1946, where his father was an Ambassador Consulate. He graduated with honors from NYU, then furthered his education to become an Electrical Engineer. He was production manager at Leviton Manufacturing Company until his retirement. Fred was esteemed in all areas of his life, as a husband, as a father and as a friend. Manfred was a man of morals, integrity and honesty, and a symbol of strength, both physically and mentally. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rest in Peace dearest Fred. The family will have a private burial, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity, or to Christ Fellowship Church in Williamsburg, VA.
