Louis Norman Kelley

Louis Norman Kelley, 91, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Augusta Health. He was born May 24, 1929, a son of the late Willard Maxell and Mary (Dawson) Kelley. Louis proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, was a member of Mt. Vernon Church of the Brethren, was a former employee of Corner Hardware and retired from Cohron Hardware in Stuarts Draft. Louis was a sweet man who loved spending time with his family and going fishing with his brother Marv. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Kelley; grandson, Christopher Conner; sister, Viola Harmon and most recently a brother, Marvin Kelley. Survivors include sons, Lester Kelley and wife Linda, Kenneth Kelley and wife Dianne; daughters, Gwendolyn Conner and companion David Legge, Rebecca Roetto and husband Dwight; sisters, Pearl Bloss, Mary Lou Kelley, Wanda McCarthy and husband John; brother Robert Kelley and wife Nancy, as well as four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He also leaves a special friend, Margaret Alphin. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Dwight Roetto officiating. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all in attendance are asked to wear a face mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
