Annette Marie DeWilde Jordan

Annette Marie DeWilde Jordan, 69, of Amherst passed away Monday, January 4, 2021, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Larry Wayne Jordan. Born December 1, 1951, in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert George DeWilde and the late Ruth Woodland DeWilde McLoud. Annette was a retired program director/instructor for Miller-Motte Technical College. She spent her retirement years pursuing her passion for antiquing at Scarlett’s Main Street Antique. In addition to her husband and parents, Annette was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachael J. Cain; and step father, Richard McLoud. Annette is survived by her daughter, Erin “Katy” Palmer and her husband Michael of Newport News; one brother, Mark DeWilde and his wife Holly of New York; one stepsister, Erin Adams of Virginia; her loving companion, Tom Wood of Lynchburg; six grandchildren, Miranda, Mariah, MaKayla, Audrie, Dakota and Logan; two great grandchildren, Adeline and William; and other loving family members and friends.
