Thomas E. Wigand

Thomas Edward Wigand, 54, of Evansville, IN passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Evansville on September 6, 1966 to Aloysius and Geraldine Wigand. Thomas loved boating, camping, drinking beer with his friends and pitching horseshoes on the beach. He also enjoyed watching IU basketball with friends and family. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rodney Wigand and Darelle Knight. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lorie, children, Matthew (Erica) and Amanda (Jeramah), grandchildren Charlotte Klos and Grayson Danield, siblings Nick (Armenta) Wigand, Bill (Carol "Peanut") Wigand, Sheryl (Michael) Solmon, Jerome (Wilma) Wigand, Mark (Stephanie) Wigand, Lisa Knight, Noelle (Wayne) Burk, Bruce (Kim) Clevedence, Julie (Bill) Gatlin, Marylou (Shawn) Stanley, and good friends Gary & Diane Wire. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Riley Children's Hospital. A Memorial Celebration of Life Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel.
