Psalm 91:1-2 | KJV Griselda Maria “Grace” Walters- Beal, 64, of Staunton, passed away on May 5, 2020 of cancer in Charlottesville, Virginia. Grace was born on April 3, 1956. She went to school in Panama. She graduated from Mt Calvary University, Fellowship, and Life. She worked in nursing, customer service, and for the Church. She gave her life at work and in service at George Washington University, Sears, Shoppers and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She was a veteran of Jehovah and served in the War for Christ and was awarded her wings in Heaven. She was involved in churches and charitable organizations, sharing the words, and creating one family. She received awards for being the Greatest Mom, Friend, Sister many times over. The words and frame may not be classy but it’s the spirit of an Angel that she is that carries us on like Butterfly’s Kisses. Grace was preceded in death by Geraldo Mathews Sr.; brothers, Fernando Mathews and Geraldo Mathews Jr.; sister, Loretta Howard; cousin, Myra Sanchez- Owens; others unnamed but not less important. Grace is survived by her children, Fernando and Kari Payne; Marcos Mathews and Virgilio Beal; cousin, Joseph Jordan; nieces, Julieta Jones and Savannah Mathews; and so many more unnamed family by blood and spirit. A service will be conducted in our Hearts and Minds. Memorials may be given to his children, Fernando and Kari Payne. The Walters and Payne family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Julieta and Bobby Jones, Joseph Jordan, Youlanda Dunn, and Marcia Cumberbatch for taking care of mom physically and spiritually.
