Lois G Bakane

Lois G Bakane, age 82, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on Saturday September 7, 2019. Lois was born September 5, 1937. Lois lived a full life. She enjoyed a successful career in real estate and spent most her life residing in Shelby County. In recent years, she was a resident of Pell City, Alabama. Lois passed away on September 7, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Velma Glenn, and her beloved husband Louis K. Bakane, Sr. She leaves behind her brother, Paul Glenn (Colleen); three children, Louis K. Bakane, Jr. (Pamela), Joy Andrews (Bruce), and Jerry Bakane (Connie); 5 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 13 great grandsons, and 3 great granddaughters. At the family's request there will be a quiet graveside at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL. May She Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory. A visitation for Lois will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211. A graveside service and burial will occur Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM , 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211.
