Mary Margaret McCaffrey

Mary Margaret McCaffrey, 66, formerly of Massena, New York passed away on October 8, 2019 after a battle with cancer. She is the youngest of four daughters of Clyde and Ruth Lacomb. Mary is survived by her loving husband Gary McCaffrey also formerly of Massena,NY., son Shaun, daughter-in-law Erica, and twin grandchildren Cayden and Emma, sisters Sheila (William) Ayotte of Massena, Linda Haldeman of Indianapolis, IN., and Barbara (Douglas) Caruso of Oswego, NY. After graduating from Maria Regina College in Syracuse, NY, Mary and Gary moved to Florida where she became a valued employee in the data security field at Thompson Reuter’s and most recently at Transunion. Because of her larger than life personality, Mary accumulated many close friends at both her workplaces as well as the neighborhoods wherever she lived. Mary had many hobbies and interests but none greater than her grandchildren in which she took great pride and joy. The McCaffrey family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to West Boca Regional Center and the Hospice of the Sea facilities and employees for their exceptional care and empathy during Mary’s illness.
